ACV1B Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

From Assay Genie, this Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA is a high-throughput, sensitive, lysate-free assay designed for the qualitative detection of ACV1B (ACVR1B) protein expression in cultured cells. The kit is suitable for use with adherent cells and allows researchers to measure relative ACVR1B levels as well as screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors, or activators on the target.

The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which ACV1B-specific primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody. A colorimetric reaction is generated upon substrate addition and is measured at 450 nm. The kit is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalization, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences.

Provided in a 96-Well Microplate format, the kit should be stored at 4°C, where it is stable for 6 months.
