ACTL6A Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit provides a sensitive, lysate-free, high-throughput colorimetric method for detecting and quantifying ACTL6A protein expression in cultured cells. Designed for use with adherent cell samples, the assay uses an indirect ELISA approach: ACTL6A is captured by target-specific primary antibodies, which are in turn bound by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies. The resulting HRP activity produces a colorimetric signal that can be measured at 450 nm following substrate addition.

Reactivity has been validated against human, mouse and rat samples, with a dynamic range of > 5000 cells. Because the readout is qualitative, the kit includes a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody as an internal positive control for normalisation, along with a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step to account for cell-density differences across wells. Recommended storage is at 4°C with 6 months of stability.
