ABL1 (Phospho-Thr735)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

The ABL1 (Phospho-Thr735) Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a cell-based ELISA designed to detect ABL1 protein phosphorylation and expression profile in cells. It is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay for measuring the relative amounts of phosphorylated ABL1 in cultured cells, and can be used to screen for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on ABL1 phosphorylation. Qualitative determination is achieved via an indirect ELISA format, in which ABL1 (Phospho-Thr735)-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

Reactivity has been demonstrated with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. Detection is colorimetric at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, and the intended sample type is adherent cells. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density so that absorbance values can be normalized to cell amounts.
