Abatacept (Orencia®)Antibody screening - Qualitative ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a colorimetric ELISA kit for the qualitative determination of antibodies to abatacept (Orencia®) in human serum and plasma. The required sample volume is 10 µl, and the stated total assay time is 140 min.

The solid-phase enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay uses a sandwich principle. Samples and controls are incubated in microtiter wells coated with abatacept, followed by washing and addition of an HRP-conjugated probe that binds to abatacept antibodies captured by the drug. TMB substrate detects the bound enzymatic activity, an acidic stop solution terminates the reaction, and the developed colour is proportional to the amount of abatacept antibodies in the samples or controls. Results are evaluated using a cut-off value.

The kit includes ready-to-use negative and positive controls, assay buffer, HRP-conjugated probe, TMB substrate and stop solution, along with wash buffer, break-apart microtiter strips and adhesive foil.
