A-RAF (Phospho-Tyr302)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's phospho-specific Cell-Based ELISA kit is designed for the qualitative measurement of A-RAF phosphorylation at the Tyr302 site, supporting investigation of A-RAF protein phosphorylation and expression profiles in cultured cells. The assay uses a lysate-free, high-throughput indirect ELISA format in which the phospho-specific target is captured by primary antibodies and detected via HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyse a colorimetric reaction read at 450 nm.

Reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples and intended for adherent cells, the kit can be used to measure relative levels of phosphorylated A-RAF in cultured cells and to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors such as siRNA or chemicals, or activators on A-RAF phosphorylation. An included anti-GAPDH monoclonal antibody serves as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, while an optional Crystal Violet whole-cell stain enables normalisation of absorbance to cell density.

ARAF is a tyrosine kinase-like kinase of the RAF family that transduces mitogenic signals from the cell membrane to the nucleus, and Nexavar/Sorafenib is listed as an approved inhibitor. The reported dynamic range is > 5000 Cells.
