4E-BP1 (Phospho-Thr45)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Cell-Based ELISA Kit for the detection of 4E-BP1 phosphorylated at threonine 45 in cultured cells. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method measured at 450 nm and is suitable for adherent cell samples. Reactivity is reported for Human, Mouse, and Rat species.

Qualitative determination of 4E-BP1 (Phospho-Thr45) is achieved through an indirect ELISA format, in which phospho-specific primary antibodies are paired with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density. The kit has a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells and is intended for signal transduction research. The target corresponds to the EIF4EBP1 gene, UniProt entry Q13541.
