4E-BP1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is intended for the measurement of 4E-BP1 protein in cells using a colorimetric readout at 450 nm. The assay runs on adherent cells in a 96-well microplate format and is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The kit uses an indirect ELISA format in which 4E-BP1-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody to catalyse a colour reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to determine cell density, allowing absorbance values to be normalised to cell amount.
