Vitronectin XF

A defined, xeno-free recombinant human protein coating substrate from STEMCELL Technologies that enables robust attachment and expansion of human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs), including embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cells, on tissue culture plastic or synthetic surfaces. Vitronectin XF replaces undefined basement membrane extracts and mouse feeder-dependent workflows, providing lot-to-lot consistency for cell culture protocols.

Each vial is reconstituted to a working concentration of 100 µg/mL in cell culture-grade phosphate-buffered saline and is supplied in a single-use format suitable for routine maintenance, single-cell passaging, or directed differentiation studies. Researchers commonly pair this substrate with TeSR or mTeSR media systems for hPSC maintenance, gene editing, and downstream regenerative medicine, disease modeling, and cell therapy research workflows.
