Vitronectin XF, 10 x 2 mL

Vitronectin XF™ from STEMCELL Technologies is a defined, xeno-free cell culture matrix developed and manufactured by Nucleus Biologics. It supports the growth and differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells and can be used as an alternative to Corning® Matrigel®.

The matrix enables feeder-free maintenance of human ES and iPS cells (hPSC) under fully defined conditions when combined with maintenance media such as mTeSR™1, mTeSR™ Plus, TeSR™-E8™, or TeSR™-AOF. Undifferentiated human ES (H9) and iPS (WLS-1C) cell cultures exhibit normal morphology on this matrix in TeSR™-E8™, with round, tightly packed, multilayered colonies and a high nucleus-to-cytoplasm ratio; cells can be transferred directly from Matrigel® hESC-Qualified Matrix without an adaptation step.
