AggreWell 400 6-well, 1pk

Manufactured by STEMCELL Technologies, this 2nd generation AggreWell™400 plate uses 400 µm microwells in a 6-well plate format to provide an easy and standardized approach to producing embryoid bodies and 3D spheroids from a variety of cell types. The plate features aligned microwell arrays and improved optical properties for crystal clear imaging directly in the plate, while retaining the ease-of-use, uniformity and reproducibility associated with the first generation design.

The 6-well configuration supports a cell range of 50 - 3,000 cells per EB or spheroid, with approximately 7,000 microwells per well. AggreWell™ plates are compatible with a range of cell types, including pluripotent stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells, cancer cells, and cell lines.

Documented applications include generating 3D cancer spheroids for tumor biology or disease modelling research, as well as directed differentiation of pluripotent stem cells, including neural induction using STEMdiff™ Neural Induction Medium (NIM). The product is supplied as a sterile item, intended for use with recommended protocols to achieve consistent aggregate size and distribution.
