MEM-Non-essential AA (10mM), 100mL

A sterile 10 mM aqueous stock of MEM Non-Essential Amino Acids from STEMCELL Technologies, packaged in a 100 mL bottle for routine supplementation of basal cell culture media. The mix provides alanine, asparagine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid, glycine, proline, and serine, amino acids that many mammalian cell lines cannot synthesize in sufficient quantity during in vitro culture. Standard usage is 1 mL of stock per 100 mL of medium such as MEM or DMEM, delivering a 0.1 mM working concentration that supports HeLa, HEK293, primary fibroblasts, and other adherent lines through routine passaging, transfection, and viral propagation workflows. Each bottle is filter-sterilized and quality tested for mycoplasma and endotoxin contamination. Cold storage protected from light is recommended to preserve the shelf life of the unopened bottle, and the solution should be added aseptically to pre-warmed media.
