TissueLyser Single-Bead Dispenser, 7mm

This QIAGEN bead dispenser is designed for efficient, user-friendly dispensing of grinding beads into disruption vessels for sample homogenization using the QIAGEN TissueLyser. The single-bead version for 7 mm beads dispenses individual beads into standard 2 ml microcentrifuge tubes via a plunger mechanism. The reservoir holds up to 45 beads and is filled using the included funnel. Beads should be dispensed into disruption vessels before adding lysis buffer or sample.

The dispenser fits onto a Gilson Carrousel Pipette Stand (ref. no. F161401). It should be stored dry at room temperature (15–25°C). Cleaning is performed with washing-up liquid and water; aggressive reagents such as acetone must not be used, and the unit must not be autoclaved or heat-sterilized. The dispenser must be used only with beads of the specified size and should not be dismantled.
