Grinding Jar Set, Teflon (2 x 10 ml)

Designed by QIAGEN for efficient disruption of large samples, these grinding jars accommodate 4–10 ml of sample per jar when used with the QIAGEN TissueLyser II. Each grinding jar is opened and closed by a screw mechanism and can hold one grinding ball. The Teflon grinding balls included in this set are recommended for general disruption applications, while stainless steel grinding balls are suggested for harder samples such as bone, or for disruptions carried out in liquid nitrogen.

QIAGEN offers two versions of the Grinding Jar Set — one with stainless steel grinding balls and one with Teflon grinding balls — allowing users to select the material best suited to their sample type and intended application.
