A defined, feeder-free reprogramming medium engineered by STEMCELL Technologies for converting somatic cells into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). TeSR-E7 supports cell culture workflows that employ integration-free methods such as Sendai virus, episomal vectors, or mRNA delivery of the Yamanaka factors OCT4, SOX2, KLF4, and c-MYC.
The xeno-free and serum-free formulation reduces batch-to-batch variability and supports reproducible colony formation from starting populations such as dermal fibroblasts or peripheral blood mononuclear cells. For optimal performance, small-molecule enhancers like sodium butyrate can be supplemented to boost reprogramming efficiency.
Supplied in a single-use bottle and intended for research use only. Store frozen at -20 degrees C to maintain activity through the product shelf life. Once thawed, keep refrigerated and protect from light; aliquot to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
