StemSpan T Cell Prog Mat Supp (10X)

A 10X concentrated supplement developed by STEMCELL Technologies for the in vitro maturation of T cell progenitors derived from CD34+ hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. When combined with StemSpan SFEM II basal medium, this reagent supports a defined, serum-free culture workflow for generating immature T lineage cells from cord blood or peripheral blood-derived CD34+ cells, giving researchers a feeder-free alternative to traditional thymic organoid or OP9-DL1 co-culture systems.

Applied widely in immunotherapy research, cell therapy development, and studies of early T cell development, the 10X format is added directly to basal medium at the time of use, simplifying handling and reducing lot-to-lot variability. Each vial supports multiple culture setups, making it practical for both small-scale optimization experiments and larger progenitor expansion studies. Downstream applications include flow cytometry phenotyping of CD7+ and CD5+ immature thymocyte-like populations and continued maturation toward TCR+ T cells.
