A defined, serum-free supplement for lymphoid lineage research, developed by STEMCELL Technologies for use with StemSpan SFEM II medium. The additive supports the in vitro expansion of CD34+ hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells along T-cell, B-cell, and NK-cell developmental pathways, providing a reproducible platform for studying early lymphoid commitment. Each vial is supplied frozen and should be stored at -20°C, then thawed and added directly to base medium at the recommended dilution prior to cell culture. Researchers commonly pair it with cytokines and small-molecule pathway modulators to bias lineage output toward specific subsets, supporting applications such as CAR-T and NK-cell product development, gene editing of progenitor populations, and ex vivo expansion protocols with downstream flow cytometry readouts.
