StemSpan CC100, 1mL

Used for the in vitro expansion of human hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs), this serum-free cytokine supplement from STEMCELL Technologies delivers a defined cocktail of recombinant human cytokines in a single 1 mL vial. The pre-mixed blend includes stem cell factor (SCF), thrombopoietin (TPO), Flt3 ligand, interleukin-3, and interleukin-6, formulated to support proliferation of CD34+ cells isolated from cord blood, peripheral blood, or bone marrow when combined with a serum-free medium such as StemSpan SFEM.

The 1 mL bottle is supplied as a 100X concentrate, sufficient to supplement 100 mL of culture medium, and is aliquoted for single use to limit freeze-thaw cycles. The supplement is stored at -20 °C, protected from light, and thawed immediately before addition to pre-warmed medium. In routine workflows, the supplement supports colony-forming unit assays, gene editing of HSPCs, and ex vivo expansion prior to xenograft or differentiation studies.

Because the formulation is defined, it enables reproducible expansion of primitive hematopoietic populations suitable for cell culture research, flow cytometry phenotyping, and downstream transplantation assays.
