From STEMCELL Technologies, this counting grid is designed to attach to the bottom of any SmartDish 6-well plate for manual counting of hematopoietic colonies using an inverted microscope. It is also suitable for manual counting of hematopoietic colonies in standard 35 mm dishes, which can be placed individually onto the grid surface.

The grid contains six 35 mm diameter areas of 2 x 2 mm grids that precisely align with each well of a SmartDish 6-well plate. Each of the six gridded areas is divided into quadrants by thicker lines, facilitating counting of only one-quarter or one-half of the culture and providing a reference for locating colonies in different areas of a well during counting.

Features include quadrant lines integrated into the grid for counting partial areas, gridlines oriented in horizontal and vertical directions that do not require manual adjustment, gridlines that do not obscure small colonies, a tab and finger holes for easy removal from the SmartDish plate, compatibility with 35 mm dishes, and reusability. The product should be stored at 15 - 25°C.
