STEMdiff Neural Org Maint Kit

STEMCELL Technologies supplies this serum-free kit, which is optimized for the maintenance and maturation of patterned neural organoids and supports improved neuronal live imaging and function. It provides the components required for extended organoid culture (greater than 50 days) within a forebrain organoid workflow. The kit includes STEMdiff™ Neural Organoid Basal Medium 2 and STEMdiff™ Neural Organoid Supplement A, supporting three-dimensional in vitro models derived from human pluripotent stem cells. These maintenance media are part of a broader system that also includes matrix-free, serum-free forebrain organoid differentiation kits, adapted from protocols by Sergiu Pașca (Birey et al.), which enable the robust generation of brain-region-specific neural organoids with a cellular composition and structural organization representative of the developing human forebrain. The same maintenance components are used in co-culture protocols for generating AssemBloids™ to study interneuron migration and neural circuit connectivity in 3D.
