STEMdiff Hematopoietic - EB Supplement A

A clear liquid laboratory reagent supplied by STEMCELL Technologies, intended for research use. According to the manufacturer's safety data sheet, the product is not classified as hazardous under the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, and no substances at the given concentration are considered hazardous to health.

The supplement is used as a component in the differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells (PSCs) into CD34+ hematopoietic progenitor cells under serum- and feeder-free conditions. It is combined with a basal medium to prepare EB Medium A, which is applied during the initial three-day mesoderm specification stage. During this stage, PSCs are seeded into AggreWell™ plates to form uniformly sized embryoid bodies, after which the medium is changed to support hematopoietic specification. The workflow forms the first two stages of a four-stage protocol that can be used to derive either natural killer cells or T cells from PSCs, depending on the paired kit.

As indicated in the safety data sheet, the product should be handled in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice and stored according to the Product Information Sheet.
