SolisFAST® Probe qPCR Mix with UNG (no ROX)

A probe-based qPCR Master Mix from Solis BioDyne, formulated as a 5x concentrate without ROX dye. The mix contains an in-silico designed SolisFAST® DNA Polymerase that supports ultra-fast cycling and is suitable for UNG treatment to prevent cross-contamination between reactions. It is intended for robust and accurate probe-based target quantification and is labelled For Research Use Only.

According to the manufacturer's safety data sheet, the mix is a colorless liquid with a pH of 7.0–9.0 and should be stored at -20 °C in the original container. The mixture is not classified as hazardous for physical, health or environmental endpoints and is reported to be stable under normal conditions. Incompatible materials include strong oxidizing agents, acids and alkalis. Recommended personal protective equipment comprises suitable protective clothing, gloves, and safety glasses with side shields, with handling in line with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.

The product is not regulated for transport by road (ADR/RID) or air (ICAO-TI/IATA-DGR) and is described as non-hazardous for transport. It is stated to be slightly hazardous for water, and the manufacturer advises preventing the product from reaching ground water, water courses or the sewage system.
