SolisFAST® Probe qPCR Mix (no ROX)

An ultra-fast, 5x-concentrated, ready-to-use master mix from Solis BioDyne, formulated without an internal reference dye such as ROX and optimized for fast, highly sensitive and reproducible probe-based qPCR assays. The mix contains all components required for the reaction—except primers, probe(s), nuclease-free water, and DNA template—and is built around a novel in silico designed SolisFAST® DNA Polymerase, an analogue of Taq DNA polymerase offering enhanced stability at room temperature, fast hot-start activation, and faster extension rates than wild-type Taq.

The formulation is optimized for dual-labeled hydrolysis probes such as TaqMan® probes and supports detection and quantitation of up to five targets simultaneously. It is intended for qPCR cyclers that do not require an internal reference dye such as ROX, with verified compatibility across the Bio-Rad CFX96™, CFX384™, Opticon™, Opticon2™, MiniOpticon™, Chromo4™, iQ™5, myiQ™; Qiagen Rotor-Gene™ 3000, 6000 and Q; Eppendorf Mastercycler® ep realplex; Bio Molecular Systems Mic; Takara Thermal Cycler Dice™ (TP800); and Roche LightCycler® 96, 480 and Nano instruments.

The qPCR buffer supplies 15 mM MgCl2 (3 mM in 1x PCR solution), dNTPs (dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dTTP) and efficiency-maximizing additives. The product ships at room temperature and is stable at –20°C until expiry, at 4°C for 12 months, at 25°C for 6 months, and through 30 freeze-thaw cycles. Recommended fast-cycling conditions are 3 minutes at 95°C initial denaturation, then 40 cycles of 5 seconds at 95°C and 20 seconds at 60–65°C for annealing/extension.
