SOLIScript®_ Fast 1-step RT-qPCR Mix with UNG

From Solis BioDyne, this probe-based one-step RT-qPCR mix is optimized for sensitive detection and quantification of RNA and DNA targets. The single-vial format contains all components required for cDNA synthesis and quantitative PCR — except water, template, primers, and probes — and supports both singleplex and multiplex reactions with up to five targets in around one hour of total reaction time.

Inhibitor tolerance and compatibility with fast cycling protocols allow flexible experiment design. Salini UNG Uracil-N-Glycosylase is incorporated alongside dUTPs to prevent carryover contamination and false positives. The reagent kit is supplied with nuclease-free water in a separate tube and contains no reference dye; it is compatible with most qPCR cyclers, with ROX normalization to be switched off on ROX-dependent platforms.

Applications include detection and quantification of RNA and DNA targets, as well as DNA/LNA hydrolysis probe-based assays. The 4x mix comprises SOLIScript Reverse Transcriptase, RiboGrip RNase Inhibitor, HOT SolisFAST DNA polymerase, Salini UNG Uracil-N-Glycosylase, and a unique reaction buffer with dNTPs (including dUTPs), 22.0 mM MgCl2 (5.5 mM in a 1x RT-qPCR solution), and performance-enhancing additives.
