SolisFAST® Probe qPCR Mix (no ROX)

A 5x-concentrated, ready-to-use solution from Solis BioDyne, optimized for fast, highly sensitive and reproducible probe-based qPCR assays. The mix contains all components necessary, except primers, probe(s), nuclease-free water, and DNA template, and is designed for use with dual-labeled hydrolysis probes (e.g., TaqMan® probes), supporting detection and quantitation of up to five targets simultaneously. It is compatible with qPCR cyclers that do not require an internal reference dye such as ROX for fluorescent signal normalization.

At the core of the formulation is SolisFAST® DNA Polymerase, an in silico designed analogue of Taq DNA polymerase that offers enhanced stability at room temperature through a Stability TAG genetic modification, fast hot-start activation, and faster extension rates compared with the wild-type enzyme. The qPCR buffer includes 15 mM MgCl2 (yielding 3 mM in a 1x reaction), dNTPs (dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dTTP), and additives to maximize PCR efficiency. The product is supplied as a colorless liquid with a pH range of 7.0–9.0 and is manufactured under an ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified quality management system.

For routine use, the mix is shipped at room temperature and stored at –20°C; it remains stable at 4°C for 12 months and at 25°C for 6 months, with freeze–thaw stability confirmed for 30 cycles. The product is intended for Research Use Only.
