SolisFAST® Probe qPCR Mix (no ROX)

A 5x-concentrated, ready-to-use probe-based qPCR master mix optimised for fast, highly sensitive and reproducible assays. The mix contains all components necessary except primers, probe(s), nuclease-free water, and DNA template, and is optimised for dual-labeled hydrolysis probes such as TaqMan® probes. It is suitable for detection and quantitation of up to five targets simultaneously and is compatible with qPCR cyclers that do not require an internal reference dye such as ROX for signal normalisation.

Included is an in silico designed analogue of Taq DNA polymerase that offers enhanced stability at room temperature due to a genetic modification (Stability TAG), along with fast hot-start activation and faster extension rates compared to wild-type Taq. The buffer component provides 15 mM MgCl₂ in the mix (yielding 3 mM in a 1x reaction), together with dNTPs and additives that maximise PCR efficiency. The product is manufactured by Solis BioDyne in compliance with the ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified Quality Management System.

Recommended cycling on a 20 µl reaction begins with 3 min at 95 °C for initial denaturation, followed by 40 cycles of denaturation at 95 °C for 5 sec and annealing/extension at 60–65 °C for 20 sec. Routine storage is at –20 °C until the expiry date; the mix is also stable at 4 °C for 12 months and at room temperature (25 °C) for 6 months, and shows freeze–thaw stability through 30 cycles.
