Description
From Eppendorf, these red 2 ml Safe-Lock micro test tubes feature a hinged lid designed to prevent unintentional opening during incubation and storage, providing a precise seal that minimises evaporation in long-term storage. The polypropylene construction offers high chemical and mechanical resistance, and the tubes are manufactured without slip agents, plasticizers, or biocides. A frosted lid and side surface support easy labelling.
Built for demanding laboratory workflows, the tubes offer centrifugation stability up to 30,000 × g, helping prevent sample loss from tube breakage and providing extra safety when working with hazardous samples. Functionality is guaranteed from -86 °C to 100 °C, and the tubes are autoclavable when open at 121 °C for 20 minutes. Supplied non-sterile, they are intended for use as reaction vessels.
