Designed to maximize the recovery of precious nucleic acids, these Eppendorf DNA LoBind® Tubes minimize sample loss by significantly reducing sample-to-surface binding. A combination of special manufacturing technologies and selected polypropylene batches ensures nearly 100% recovery of DNA and RNA molecules—without the need for surface coating, which eliminates the risk of sample contamination.

The LoBind material is free of coatings such as silicone, helping to minimize the risk of sample interference. Precise lid sealing contributes to minimal evaporation rates in tube format, and the tubes are rated up to 30,000 × g (25,000 × g for 2.0 mL tubes) centrifugation speed for molecular biology applications. Each batch is tested and certified by an independent laboratory to be free from DNA, DNase, RNase, and PCR inhibitors. The product is designated Non-Sterile and carries a PCR Clean purity grade.

With a 1.5 mL volume and colorless finish, the Eppendorf DNA LoBind® tubes are suitable for the preparation or storage of DNA and RNA samples, forensic trace analysis, preparing dilution series in quantitative qPCR, sample preparation in next-generation sequencing, and the creation of genomic or oligonucleotide libraries.
