RT_ SYBR Green qPCR Mastermix (25 ml)

A SYBR Green–based real-time PCR master mix from QIAGEN, formulated with real-time PCR buffer, a chemically modified HotStart DNA Taq polymerase, nucleotides, and SYBR Green dye. The tightly controlled HotStart enzyme prevents amplification of primer–dimers and other nonspecific products.

This formulation is intended for SYBR Green detection on instruments not requiring a reference dye, including Bio-Rad CFX96 and CFX384, Bio-Rad/MJ Research Chromo4, DNA Engine Opticon and Opticon 2, Roche LightCycler 480 (96- and 384-well), Eppendorf Mastercycler ep realplex without the ROX filter set, and Cepheid SmartCycler. It is for use with RT2 Profiler, RT2 lncRNA, EpiTect ChIP, and EpiTect Methyl PCR Arrays.

The reagent is supplied in a bulk format suited to high-throughput or frequent qPCR workflows and is stored at -20°C.
