RT_ SYBR Green Fluor qPCR Mastermix (6)

A real-time PCR reagent from QIAGEN formulated for SYBR Green–based detection on instruments that use fluorescein as a reference dye. The mastermix is intended for use with RT² Profiler, RT² lncRNA, EpiTect ChIP, and EpiTect Methyl PCR Arrays, supporting gene expression and related qPCR workflows.

The formulation contains real-time PCR buffer, a HotStart DNA Taq polymerase, nucleotides, and SYBR Green dye, with fluorescein incorporated to match the optics of compatible instruments. The chemically modified HotStart enzyme is tightly controlled to prevent amplification of primer–dimers and other nonspecific products, supporting accurate SYBR Green results, high amplification efficiency, and specificity. Post-PCR dissociation curve analysis is recommended to assess product homogeneity and confirm reaction specificity.

The mastermix is highly suited for SYBR Green–based real-time PCR on Bio-Rad iCycler, iQ5, MyiQ, and MyiQ2 instruments and forms part of the broader RT² SYBR Green qPCR Mastermix family offered by QIAGEN for popular qPCR platforms. For reverse transcription, the manufacturer recommends pairing this mastermix with the RT² First Strand Kit.
