Rat Ribonuclease T2 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies a sandwich ELISA kit for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Ribonuclease T2 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The kit uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Ribonuclease T2, employing the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique for quantitative measurement. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where Ribonuclease T2 binds the immobilized antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-Ribonuclease T2 antibody binds the captured target, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.142 ng/ml. Recovery was validated in serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81%–101%, average 91%), and heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, average 84%) across n=5 samples. Linearity has been assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.
