Description
A real-time, one-step probe-based qRT-PCR kit from QIAGEN designed for virus detection. The workflow combines reverse transcription and PCR in a single reaction, supporting RNA and/or DNA targets and allowing both single and multiplex setups.
The kit comprises QuantiTect Virus NR Master Mix (without ROX dye), ROX Dye Solution, QuantiTect Virus RT Mix, RNase-Free Water, and QuantiTect Nucleic Acid Dilution Buffer. ROX dye is provided in the master mix and additionally as a separate vial.
Detection is based on sequence-specific probes. The kit is compatible with most real-time thermal cyclers, with the exception of capillary cyclers such as the LightCycler® 1.x and 2.0.
