Description
QIAGEN PowerBead Tubes are prefilled bead tubes designed for the rapid and reliable lysis of biological samples from a wide variety of starting materials. Each tube is filled with 0.5 mm glass beads and is supplied in a 2 mL format, ready to use for homogenization and cell disruption across applications including protein or nucleic acid isolation from environmental, food, medical, forensic, veterinary, pharmacological, and other sample types.
The tubes help completely homogenize and lyse samples based on user requirements and are listed as a related product compatible with workflows involving the TissueLyser system.
For storage, keep at room temperature (15–30°C).
