The 2 ml tubes come pre-loaded with high-performance beads for mechanical lysis and homogenisation of tough biological samples, supporting robust sample disruption and consistent performance for downstream extraction workflows.

Ready to use straight out of the pack, the cylindrical white plastic tubes are compatible with common bead-beating instruments, including the PowerLyzer 24. They are suited to protein or nucleic acid isolation from environmental, food, medical, forensic, veterinary, pharmacological and other applications, and should be stored at room temperature (15–30°C).
