Porcine Interleukin 13 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Interleukin 13 (IL-13). The kit is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate with a capture antibody specific for IL-13; bound analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-IL-13 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm, with intensity proportional to IL-13 concentration. The standard curve covers 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a stated sensitivity of 5.8 pg/ml, and total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date. Recovery has been characterised for serum (average 91%, range 80–102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81–100%, n=5) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80–89%, n=5), and linearity has been demonstrated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for each matrix.
