NeuroCult Proliferation Supplement, 50mL

A defined, serum-free additive from STEMCELL Technologies designed for the in vitro expansion of neural stem and progenitor cells. The NeuroCult Proliferation Supplement supplies the growth factors and small-molecule supports required to keep neural populations proliferative and undifferentiated during routine passaging, sphere-forming assays, and larger-scale expansion campaigns. When combined with NeuroCult NS-A Basal Medium (sold separately), the 50 mL bottle yields approximately 500 mL of complete Neural Proliferation Medium at the recommended 1:10 addition ratio.

The supplement supports the self-renewal of mouse and rat neural stem cells as adherent monolayer cultures or as free-floating neurospheres, and is widely used as the upstream step before directed differentiation into neurons, astrocytes, or oligodendrocytes. It is suited for developmental neuroscience research, regenerative medicine studies, and in vitro disease modeling that require consistent, reproducible expansion of primary or established NSC lines.

Store frozen at -20 degrees C, protect from light, and aliquot upon first thaw to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Intended for research use only; not for diagnostic, clinical, or therapeutic applications.
