mTeSR1 Kit for hES Maintenance, 1 L

STEMCELL Technologies supplies this complete, serum-free, defined formulation for the feeder-free maintenance and expansion of human embryonic stem (ES) cells and human induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells in the undifferentiated state. The kit, mTeSR™1, is supplied as Basal Medium and 5X Supplement, which together (Basal Medium + 5X Supplement) contain recombinant human basic fibroblast growth factor (rh bFGF) and recombinant human transforming growth factor β (rh TGFβ); no further growth factors are required.

mTeSR™1 may be used with either Corning® Matrigel® hESC-Qualified Matrix or Vitronectin XF™ as the culture matrix. Each lot of 5X Supplement is used to prepare complete medium and is then performance-tested in a culture assay using human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs). The product is manufactured and tested following relevant cGMPs under a certified quality management system and is for research use only.
