Mouse Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse VEGF Receptor 1 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) format with HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. An antibody specific for VEGF Receptor 1 is immobilised on the plate, captured analyte is detected with a biotinylated anti-VEGF Receptor 1 antibody, and signal intensity (yellow, after acidic stop solution) is proportional to the VEGF Receptor 1 concentration in the sample.

According to the manufacturer, the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml and sensitivity is <0.058 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery values have been reported for serum (range 80–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81–101%, average 91%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity has been reported across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in the same matrices.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well strip plate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
