Mouse Platelet Derived Growth Factor Subunit B ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse PDGF B in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with a PDGF B-specific capture antibody; standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-PDGF B Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a working range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <11.2 pg/ml, with a total run time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery values averaged 91% in serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity was demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
