Mouse Hepatic Organoids

Designed for laboratory research, these cryopreserved mouse hepatic progenitor organoids from STEMCELL Technologies provide a convenient way to establish or standardize hepatic organoid cultures. Each vial contains fragments derived from the liver of a C57BL/6 mouse, sufficient to establish two wells of organoid cultures. The starting material was cultured in HepatiCult™ Organoid Growth Medium (Mouse) and cryopreserved in CryoStor® CS10, removing the need to isolate hepatic ducts from primary tissue or to source fresh mouse tissue. Once established, the organoids can be passaged and expanded in HepatiCult™ Organoid Growth Medium (Mouse) and refrozen in CryoStor® CS10. Documented applications include liver biology and disease modeling, cancer research, and toxicity assay development. The product is intended for research use only; commercial use requires a license from HUB.

Store at -135°C or colder. The product is stable for 5 years from the date of manufacture stated on the label. Per the safety data sheet, it is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture under the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), although it may cause mild skin irritation and should be handled in accordance with good laboratory hygiene. Thawed organoids must not be re-frozen.
