From Antibodies.com, this Mouse CD83 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse CD83 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids.

The assay runs on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and uses a biotinylated anti-CD83 detection antibody in combination with an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is generated with TMB substrate, stopped with an acidic solution, and read colourimetrically at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 35 pg/ml, a quantitative assay range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml and a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported mean recoveries across the sample panel are 93% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma and 95% for heparin plasma.
