Mouse Carnosine Synthase 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Carnosine Synthase 1 in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, paired with a biotinylated anti-target antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a yellow colour read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance specifications include a working range of 1.56-100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.63 ng/ml. Dilution linearity was assessed from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, yielding average recoveries of 91% (serum, n=5), 91% (EDTA plasma, n=5) and 84% (heparin plasma, n=5).
