Mouse Carboxylesterase 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative measurement of Mouse Liver Carboxylesterase 1/CES1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The procedure uses a biotinylated detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay standard curve spans 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a reported sensitivity of <0.053 ng/ml. In-house validation reported average recovery of 91% for serum (80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (80–89%). Dilution linearity was demonstrated from 1:2 through 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples. The pre-coated microplate platform supports an assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers. Storage instructions call for keeping components at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and not using the kit past its expiration date.
