Monkey Transforming Growth Factor Beta 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of monkey Transforming Growth Factor Beta 2 (TGF beta 2) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-TGF beta 2 antibody and HRP-avidin detection, with TMB substrate read at 450 nm on a colourimetric plate reader.

The reported assay range is 31.2–2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <14.7 pg/ml, and the protocol takes approximately 4 h 30 m. Recovery has been characterised in serum (average 91%, n=5, range 83–99%), EDTA plasma (average 89%, range 80–99%) and heparin plasma (average 90%, range 82–99%), with linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions. The kit includes a lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers; components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
