Description
This QIAGEN SYBR Green PCR Kit is designed for use as part of the miScript PCR System, enabling quantitative detection of microRNA (miRNA) targets by real-time PCR.
The kit supports SYBR Green-based detection, which allows melting curve analysis immediately following PCR so that reaction specificity can be confirmed and the formation of primer-dimers or non-specific amplicons ruled out. It works together with the rest of the miScript PCR System workflow to support miRNA profiling.
According to the manufacturer, production of miScript miRNA PCR products is being phased out, with manufacturing to stop on May 1, 2021. The recommended successor for SYBR Green detection is the QIAGEN miRCURY LNA SYBR Green PCR Kit.
