Pre-supplemented with recombinant cytokines such as SCF, IL-3, IL-6, EPO, G-CSF, and GM-CSF, the formulation removes the need to add exogenous growth factors during setup, letting laboratories seed mononuclear cells directly into the viscous matrix for reproducible colony scoring after 14 days of incubation at 37 °C with 5% CO2.
