Intended for serum-free expansion of human mesenchymal stromal cells (hMSCs), this 50 mL concentrated supplement from STEMCELL Technologies is combined with MesenCult Basal Medium to prepare complete working medium for routine adherent cell culture. The supplement provides a defined environment that supports proliferation while preserving MSC identity markers, including CD73, CD90, and CD105, across multiple passages.

Supplied as a 50 mL bottle, the entire volume is added to 450 mL of basal medium to generate 500 mL of complete medium, simplifying preparation for larger-scale expansion workflows. Researchers working with bone marrow-, adipose tissue-, or umbilical cord-derived MSCs commonly use this system, and the standardized formulation supports downstream differentiation into osteogenic, chondrogenic, and adipogenic lineages.
