MammoCult Human Medium Kit

Mammary epithelial cell culture system by STEMCELL Technologies for in vitro propagation of primary human breast tissue cells. The kit combines a defined basal medium with supplement components formulated to support proliferation of both normal and tumor-derived mammary cells, including progenitors capable of forming mammospheres in suspension culture.

Researchers use this medium to expand patient-derived cells for breast cancer studies, normal gland development models, drug response assays, and characterization of stem and progenitor populations. The system works for adherent monolayer culture on tissue culture-treated vessels and for low-attachment mammosphere assays used to enrich for cancer stem cell-like cells.

Storage: refrigerate unopened components; thaw supplements once prior to aliquoting to limit freeze-thaw cycles. Components are supplied as a kit containing basal medium and supplement vials sufficient for routine mammary epithelial culture workflows. Research use only.
