ImmunoCult NK Cell Expansion Coating

A clear liquid laboratory reagent from STEMCELL Technologies, this coating material is used to pre-coat culture plates in the ImmunoCult™ NK Cell Expansion Kit workflow. According to the manufacturer's protocol, isolated human natural killer (NK) cells are cultured in ImmunoCult™ NK Cell Expansion Medium on the coated plates. Fresh medium is added after 3 days, and expanding cells are harvested and replated onto freshly coated plates on day 7 and again on day 10 or 11, with final harvest on day 14.

Reported performance for the kit workflow includes an average fold expansion of 89 ± 17 for CD56+CD3− NK cells over 14 days (n = 34), with viable CD56+CD3− and CD56+CD16+ populations averaging 87 ± 1% and 75 ± 2% respectively. The Safety Data Sheet classifies the product as non-hazardous under the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, supplied as a liquid with a clear appearance.
