ImmunoCult HuCD3/CD28/CD2TCell Act, 10mL

A soluble activation reagent from STEMCELL Technologies is designed to activate and expand human T cells without the need for magnetic beads, feeder cells, or antigen. It consists of soluble antibody complexes that bind the CD3, CD28, and CD2 cell surface ligands, cross-linking them to provide the primary and co-stimulatory signals required for T cell activation. The reagent contains anti-human CD3, anti-human CD28, and anti-human CD2 monospecific antibody complexes, and is described as a highly stable, filter-sterilized soluble reagent that provides a gentle activation stimulus maintaining high viability of activated and expanded T cells.

Activated T cells can be expanded in ImmunoCult™-XF T Cell Expansion Medium or other media for culturing human T cells supplemented with cytokines. The recommended storage condition is 2 - 8°C, and the product is stable until the expiry date on the label. The reagent is manufactured as a cGMP, human T cell activation and expansion reagent. When EasySep™-isolated human T cells were stimulated with this activator and cultured, the frequency of CD25+ cells was 5.6 ± 2.4% (mean ± SD) on day 0 and rose to 88.8 ± 3.2% (mean ± SD) after 3 days of culture, as assessed by CD25 expression using flow cytometry. Expansion was demonstrated over a 12-day culture period using 25 µL of activator per mL with ImmunoCult™-XF T Cell Expansion Medium supplemented with 10 ng/mL Human Recombinant IL-2.
