ImmunoCult Hu CD3/CD28 TCell Act, 2 mL

This laboratory reagent from STEMCELL Technologies is designed to activate and expand human T cells using soluble antibody complexes, with the goal of maintaining high cell viability throughout the process. It is intended to be used alongside ImmunoCult-XF T Cell Expansion Medium to support human T cell culture workflows.

In validation experiments, EasySep-isolated human T cells stimulated with the activator and cultured in ImmunoCult-XF T Cell Expansion Medium were assessed for activation by CD25 expression using flow cytometry. On day 0, the frequency of CD25-positive cells among viable CD3+ T cells was 5.6 ± 2.4% (mean ± SD). After 3 days of culture, this rose to 75.4 ± 13.8% (mean ± SD). In a separate expansion experiment, 1 x 10^6 EasySep-isolated human T cells were stimulated with 25 μL of activator in ImmunoCult-XF T Cell Expansion Medium supplemented with 10 ng/mL Human Recombinant IL-2, with fresh medium and IL-2 added on days 3, 5, 7, and 10, and no additional activator added over the 12-day culture period.
